This Tu BeShvat Plate has a massive basket of fruit and flowers in the center in full color that is surrounded by the Hebrew words of the blessing said before eating fruit. The plate also features the Hebrew phrase “Chamisha Asar BeChodesh Shevat Rosh Hashanah La’Ilanot” that means “The 15th of Shevat is the Rosh Hashanah for trees” in English. The Hebrew text on the plate appears in a clear black Hebrew font and is accented by flowers and fruit. This item is a great gift for a wedding or engagement!
Tu BeShvat is considered to be the beginning of the New Year for Trees and is mentioned in the Mishna. During the holiday, it is common practice to eat fruits and grains that come from the Land of Israel, including the Seven Species.
